My photographs aim to encourage an emotional response from the viewer
based on the silent exchange between viewer and landscape.
My wedding images take on a more contempory feel to them but also incorporate
the excitement and drama of that special day.
Styhead is a mountain pass in the English Lake District and at an altitude of 1600 feet (488m) is the small tarn (Styhead tarn) near its summit. The pass is at the head of Wasdale and this image was taken at the beginvning of the winter(December) when the first snow had just started to fall. As you can see from the layer of ice formed on the far side of the Tarn it was a very cold day !
