My photographs aim to encourage an emotional response from the viewer
based on the silent exchange between viewer and landscape.
My wedding images take on a more contempory feel to them but also incorporate
the excitement and drama of that special day.
Taken from the top of a road called the “Khyber Pass”, this shot looks across the old seaside town of Whitby.
The famous Whitby Abbey is perched up on the hill opposite. I used a long exposure to create the white trail
of headlights you can see in the foredround to accentuate the winding road going up the Kyhber Pass!
Technical: Canon 5 D Mk3, 17-40 f4 lens, exposure 58 seconds.
